The Virani Distinguished School Leader Award Qualifications
Must be a Teach For America Alumni
Must be a full-time school leader (principal) working in Houston
Must have 2+ years of school leadership experience as of June 2025
Must Be a Leader Who: Pursues Opportunity for All, Strengthens Their Community, Achieves Great Impact, Chooses Courage in Their Work, Acts with Humility, Demonstrates Resilience, and Learns Continuously
