Meet Ms. Adrienne Brown

Adrienne Brown graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. She also earned a Master of Science in Education in Educational Leadership with principal certification from Arkansas State University and participated in the Rice Urban School Leadership post-graduate program. Ms. Brown began her career as a teacher in Baton Rouge, LA before moving to Houston. She joined YES Prep as a Compliance Specialist at the Fifth Ward campus and served as Dean of Students and Director of Student Support before becoming resident and proud principal of YES Prep Hobby Secondary. Ms. Brown leads through her unwavering belief that all Aviators have the capacity to achieve with high expectations and a commitment to growth and joy.
