Meet Mrs. Ashley Moorman

Ashley Moorman graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Government and earned her master’s in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Washington. Ms. Moorman began her career in education as a 2007 Teach For America corps member, teaching seventh-grade science at KIPP Academy Middle School in Houston. She went on to serve as Dean and Assistant Principal before becoming School Leader at KIPP Academy in 2019. In 2024, she became the School Leader of KIPP Nexus Middle School, where she is driving transformational change and student success.
