Meet Mr. Justin West

Justin West graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and earned his master’s in education with principal certification from the University of St. Thomas. Mr. West began his career in education as a 2011 Teach For America corps member, teaching at YES Prep North Forest Secondary. He went on to serve in a variety of roles including teacher, Grade Level Chair, Dean of Students, and Director of Student Support before completing YES Prep’s inaugural Principal Residency. He later served as principal of YES Prep Hoffman Middle and now leads YES Prep Northwest Secondary.
