About the Virani Distinguished School Leader Award
The Virani Distinguished School Leader Award was founded by Asha and Farid Virani to honor two TFA Alumni school leaders working in Greater Houston. These leaders exemplify extraordinary dedication and inspiration through their exceptional leadership within their schools. They are the catalysts for change, committed to fostering a culture of excellence that embodies the core values of high-quality education.
In its inaugural year, two distinguished leaders will be awarded $10,000.

Meet Dr. Asha and Farid Virani
Farid is the co-board chair of TFA Houston, the CEO of Prime Communications, a generous philanthropist, and an impactful community leader. Asha is an esteemed medical doctor and the founder of The Faris Foundation.
